ART STUDIO VIBES
Imposter syndrome is real for artists. When your work is out in the public eye, its constantly scrutinised and judged. But that's alright with me. Art is subjective in the eyes of the beholder. As artists you need to learn to get over the negative criticism and just paint for yourself. If others like your work, that's a huge bonus.
By being visible online, you do have those moments when other people connect with your art, your style, your vibe. This happened to me recently when Narelle reached out and wanted to come to my home to view my paintings.
Narelle is a small business owner, who runs Wild Earth Mother Narelle has a vision of expanding her business, going it alone, in a new refurbished store to open in Yarram on 16th March 2022.
Narelle will be selling local organic food (honey, cheese, preserves, sourdough breads, pasta, pizza), skincare products, homewares and gifts in her store. So it's a huge undertaking, one that Narelle is enthusiastic and passionate about and an asset to the town of Yarram.
Narelle took a shine to my alcohol inks, abstract expressionism style of artworks and will be selling some of my purchased art in her new store. I'm so pleased we crossed paths, Narelle has a vibrant, effervesent personality, who supports and nurtures small business owners who make original hand-made products.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish Narelle every success in her new business venture. Narelle is extremely passionate about supporting local artists like myself.
