I'm so glad to see the end of 2020. It was such a challenging year for everyone globally and one that will go down in history.
For me personally, it was a time to reflect, to be grateful, to spend quality time with our family, to appreciate the good deeds of others and to be thankful for our health and wellbeing.
Warragul Arts Market
I'll be a stall holder at the next Warragul Arts Market scheduled for Saturday, 16th January 2021 with an earlier start time of 8.30am - 1.00 pm at Civic Park, Warragul. The background image is a small glimpse into my newest alcohol inks artwork. I was inspired by the colours of the deep blue waters in the Great Barrier Reef with the beautiful atoll formations.

What a great thrill to sell my first artwork for 2021.
Russell Chester at LJ Hooker Traralgon and Rosedale took advantage of the Kanga20 coupon promotion available on my website to purchase 'House by the Lake' to display in his office space at work.
This interactive piece received lots of comments, viewers could see: a house, a lake, a turtle, a boy on TV, a catepillar, a carnival with big tops, a theatre scene and a tall lady in pink.

Artists never stop learning - Online Art Class (Acrylic Bundle) hosted by Laura Horn
I took the opportunity to enrol in an online Art Class hosted by Laura Horn this week. Laura is a fabulous mixed media abstract Australian artist. I admire Laura's work immensely, she is also a dynamic motivator and educator with her informative podcast series. With this self-paced online 'Acrylic Bundle' course, I want to continue to experiment with acrylics using layers, creating texture using different tools, and learn more about colour and composition. Looking forward to creating more art.
