Popular Art Show online

The 2020 Tyers Art Festival has a new look this year. It's gone online for the entire month of November.

The organisers went live on 1st of November, so you don't need to leave the comfort of your own home to view the fabulous paintings and photography work available for your viewing pleasure.

I love supporting this wonderful fundraising event. It allows artists and photographers to give back to the local community.

Nigel (the Pelican), in the acrylic category.

You can see the fluffy feathers around the neck, the elongaged bill with it's massive throat pouch.

I deliberately intensified the feather colours around the plumage with a tinge of lilac. Photo reference courtesy of Terence Porter.

Other KangaFineArt submissions include:- * Dolphins at Play - acrylic * Traffic - mixed media * Ocean Breeze - mixed media * Blue Lagoon - alcohol inks on yupo paper

Another way you can support the exhibitors is to vote for your favourite artwork to win the Popular Choice award. Click on the 'Vote Now' buttons and select the artwork name you wish to vote for from the dropdown menu.

If you like  abstract, landscapes, seasapes, still life and realism - why not browse the beautifully rendered paintings and the captivating photography work on offer.

For me personally, I adore the work from Heather Snowdon (local acrylic artist) and Ken Downs (watercolour artist), which I'm a proud owner of two of his artworks.

Enjoy your day.
